Free Plastic's plastic pollution recycled into a plank

Our small batch baking system is working, and after a few quick cuts and passes through the planer, we have a usable material to construct objects out of.

This our second attempt: a 3” x 6” x 5/8” plastic tile made of 100% plastic pollution farmed by @sunofabeachcleanup on the beaches of South Florida.

The baking experiments are on pause until we can build our compression oven and get some molds. Until then, we will be working on our system to recycle thermoset plastics (like epoxy), as well as a few plastic art projects.
